- Choose the smallest portion on the menu
When you’re eating out, take your time to read the menu. If it’s a place where they only sell unhealthy food, choose the smallest portion they have (mini hamburger, small sized pizza,…).
2. Be more optimistic!
Yup, every positive thought matters. Focus only on the good ones and repeat your goals in a positive way. “I lost half a pound! That’s just great!” and “I can say NO to dessert” are good examples of optimistic phrases that will help you achieve your goals.

A study involving 3,000 volunteers who smelled foods like apple, mint, or banana when they were hungry, found that their appetites decreased and the results were soon reflected on the scales. This trick fools your brain and make it believe that you’re eating!
4. Focus on blue things
Sounds weird huh? Actually, it does but it has been proven that the color blue decreases appetite. So why not decorating your table with a blue tablecloth, blue napkins, blue plates, and blue glasses?
